Festa Nuovo Raccolto - Edizione 2021 RINVIATA.
16th year. Back the New Harvest Festival, which will take place Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019. An ancient farmhouse, the rice fields and the soothing landscape of the Baraggia.
In this context, you have a nice day, pedaling on mountain bikes (and learning) in the Biella countryside, seeing live rice processing (in the barn) and deposits (paddy). Typical products for sale Biella, at noon eats with the Big Panissata, with the distribution of panissa (typical risotto), cold meats, cheeses, true Miassa with corn flour and much more. all to the good humor and hospitality of the Guerrini family.
We eat sitting under the gazebo or on bales of straw as it once was. ( See photos of past editions) Living with friends a day outdoors, the farmyard or under a shelter, and then in paddy field to learn how to collect rice, well, is something priceless, especially when you are also Biella many typical products, the so-called "Friends of the rice", offering visitors wine, honey, porridge, fruit and vegetables, cheeses and much more. in the morning and repeated in the afternoon: - guided tours of the rice mill, and (in the afternoon) the collection, - Ride rice , a distance of approximately 3 km driven immersed in the autumn mature campaigns. Own bike or rent-free until all bikes.
