DESCRIPTION: Red aromatic rice from long grain.
FEATURES: Ermes is a variety of rice from the red pericarp, obtained in Italy by crossing Venere rice and a stretched grain rice, deliberately created through natural techniques. It is grown exclusively in the province of Vercelli and Pavia. As for blacks, red rices anthocyanins are contained in the outer part of the brown speck. Ermes is also gluten-free and is a brown rice, so rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and proteins.
USE: delicate aroma rice, Ermes is a healthy and nutritious food, perfect to be enjoyed with extra virgin olive oil, but also in salads with raw and cooked vegetables.
